Leading through a global pandemic and the great resignation
I built and scaled a design business within a management consulting firm focused on financial services, not only navigating the challenges of a global pandemic and the Great Resignation but driving significant growth during this period. I led the team in expanding our client base, increasing revenue, and delivering innovative solutions, all while adapting to the rapidly changing landscape.
Culture Clash
Tension between traditional methods and the push for new, digital ways of working.
Limited Brand Recognition
Capco’s creative/digital side struggles with brand recognition, with insufficient resources to shift perception.
Lean Ops & Collaboration Gaps
Mandate to run an incredibly lean (or non-existent) bench, coupled with the fact that collaboration wasn’t always incentivized.
As Head of Design, I was responsible for leading all aspects of design strategy and delivery. I drove everything from attracting and retaining top design talent to managing the P&L for design across the U.S.
This included overseeing flagship digital projects for clients and ensuring the success of our design team within a larger consulting organization.
